Nolan Formalarie

Nolan Formalarie, Broker-in-charge

Hello there, my name is Nolan Formalarie and I moved from the chilly Northeast 12 years ago to be by the beach, sun and enjoy a relaxed life style. Growing up in Western MA was wonderful but as an avid outdoor person who needs the sun I decided to take a trip to Wilmington/Southport and immediately fell in love with the area.

I used to be an avid day hiker and mountain biker but because this area is flat I quickly adapted and now kayak, walk and run along the seashore. The kayaking in Brunswick County is amazing; you can experience all kinds of wildlife in the Lockwood Folly River, if you like sea kayaking the Marsh Savannahs that lead to the Atlantic might be for you.

Our beaches are calm, serene and full of white sand. Down in Brunswick County they all face south making them an excellent place to take a walk around Sunset. I make sure to get out there at least once a week to walk. It’s a stress release, as well as therapeutic.

As for being a real estate broker I genuinely love what I do. I don’t sell homes or land I simply provide the best customer service I can to my clients. I pride myself on the relationships I form before, during and after a transaction. My work ethic and dedication is unparalleled and if I can help you out in any way please let me know.

Kate and Laura

Treating customers like family is the goal & a way of life for Coastal Nest. The sister duo, Kate Lenna & Laura FitzHugh are dedicated to matching individuals & families with the home and neighborhood that best suit their needs.

Kate and Laura are originally from Northern Virginia. Laura moved to Southport in 2006 with her husband Mac, and their daughter Logan. Mac’s parents were retiring to St. James and a slower lifestyle sounded wonderful to the young family. Laura & Mac welcomed two more children since their move to Southport, daughter Addison and son Quinn. Bella is the newest addition to the family, a German Shepard that they adopted from the Brunswick County Animal Protective Services.

When Laura moved to NC, her plan was to convince her sisters and mom to move to the coastal carolinas. She was successful in relocating her mom and other sister. In 2013, Kate took the leap and moved to Southport from Southern California with her husband Mike, and two sons Luca and Leo. Daughter Luci joined the family in 2016.

Kate and Laura decided to join forces and establish Coastal Nest. They both enjoy helping their clients find their piece of paradise in coastal Carolina. Kate and Laura pride themselves in their passionate and heartfelt drive to serve their clients.

Both Kate and Laura share a love of cooking and opening their homes to friends and family. They have incorporated creativity, innovation and hospitality into their open houses and marketing. They share a love for animals and are offering a pet adoption for their clients, when they purchase a home. Buy a Home, Give a Home will help many Brunswick County cats and dogs find their forever homes.

John was born and raised in New Jersey and relocated to Southport in 2015. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and holds a North Carolina real estate broker’s license. John has over 30 years’ experience in residential property management and healthcare facilities management. John and his wife, Anna, live in St James Plantation and in his spare time enjoys golf, leisure travel and visiting his eight grandchildren.

After 10 years of living in New York City, Lynette and her husband moved south for the warmer climate. She is a certified Home Stager and Redesigner who enjoys helping clients organize and stage their homes for the resale market. Keeping current with new real estate trends and making a home appealing to today’s buyers is integral to earning the best value for your home in the shortest amount of time. She will also help redesign your new home, if you are staying in the area. Lynette enjoys gardening, cooking, and biking.

Connie and her husband had purchased their retirement home in Alaska in 2011. In 2012, they decided to move to Brunswick County after having their first child so they could be closer to family. Connie is now living the dream here, enjoying sun and family year around. She retired from her last position in 2016 and wanted something completely different. This is her “fun” job in retirement life. She loves traveling when she can, and traveling and traveling.

Candace Mooney

From the DC area originally, Candace relocated to Brunswick County in 1996. Her career here began at Ocean Ridge Plantation Real Estate, then on to Marketing Director at Sea Trail Plantation, certified Relocation Director for a national real estate franchise and now currently works independently marketing luxury waterfront and golf front properties.

Sherry Inman

I decided to go in to real estate because helping others has always been one of my greatest passions. Whether helping you find the home of your dreams or selling your current home, you can be confident that I will be there to take care of every aspect of the transaction. My attention to detail and organization skills allow for a smooth transaction. I treat my clients like family and keep in touch with them on a regular basis before, during, and after closing. I value the relationships I have built during my real estate career.

I’ve spent almost my whole life in the area and absolutely love it. I enjoy the beaches, the warm sunny weather, and the wonderful people who live here. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at church, going on mission trips to Nicaragua, reading, and vacationing with my family. My husband David and I have been married for over 20 years and we have one son, Aaron. We also have 3 rescue dogs which we love and spoil, Sophie, Rocky, and Buddy, the 140 lb. newest addition to the family.
